Plot Summary

Background

I set out to make a “Eastern European Art Film.” The film would be in a foreign language, be in black and white, and be totally insane and pointless.

The problem: I didn’t know how to edit, and the only camera I had was a Sony Hi-8, a format which doesn’t even exist anymore. So, I learned linear editing at the public access station.

Another problem: I couldn’t stand having no plot. So a plot sort of crept in there.

Starring my friend Noah Zimmerman as the homeless man. Noah also starred in another pretty awesome short movie, “Tarot Terror,” which was a 16mm black and white movie shot as part of a class for UC Extension in San Francisco. I directed a dream sequence in that one.
