Plot Summary

Join a zany all-sock-monkey cast as they careen through three different literary and film styles of the early 1930s: the detective noir, the early superhero serial, and the propaganda film. Cinema was in its infancy, and so were each of these genres.

Background

Originally I made this as an entry into Robot Media, a ghetto-fabulous free film festival in Berkeley, CA.

The attractive bit about Robot Media was: 1) it was free, and 2) if you stuck to the rules, you were guaranteed to show at the next screening. At the end of each screening the audience voted on what the theme of the next screening would be.

I have no idea what happened to Robot Media. The theme this was originally written for never screened anyway. Bah!
